John Wieringa, C.P.E.
Certified Professional Electrologist. Precision tradesman. Someone who understands how personal this is.
Your journey to lasting smoothness begins here.
I understand how personal, and how wearing, unwanted hair can be. Over a lifetime you notice how it changes and where it turns up, and I’ve made it my work to help people be free of it, exactly where they don’t want it. My promise is simple: attentive, non-judgmental care, where everyone is welcome and treated with full respect.
Precision is the whole job.
Permanent hair removal comes down to two things: microscopic precision and steady, unwavering attention to detail. My background wired me for exactly that. Before becoming a Certified Professional Electrologist, I spent 45 years as a master tool and die maker, a trade where a fraction of a millimetre is the difference between perfect and failed. That’s the same steadiness and discipline I bring to every follicle I treat.
Certified to a national standard.
As a C.P.E., my skills are measured against a national standard of excellence. In a largely unregulated field, that means you can be confident you’re in expert, ethical hands: hospital-grade hygiene, technique tailored to you, and honest, evidence-based results.
Precision tools for precision work.
I treat on an Apilus Senior Electropil, a professional electro-epilator built by Dectro International, the Quebec company that has specialized in permanent hair removal since 1978. It runs on stable 13.56 MHz technology and offers both thermolysis and blend, with more than a thousand treatment programs tuned by body area, hair type, and probe, plus a built-in tolerance test that adapts the current to your comfort.
Paired with sterile, single-use probes, it lets me match the energy precisely to each hair and each area, which is what makes treatment both effective and gentle. It is the same trusted platform used in professional electrolysis clinics worldwide.
